Description

Suleman is an accomplished artist who earned his degree in art from the esteemed Faculty of Arts at Banaras Hindu University. Banaras, also known as Varanasi, holds special significance as the city of Lord Shiva, with the Bull, referred to as ‘Nandi,’ serving as his divine vehicle. This symbolism, rooted in religious beliefs, represents happiness, peace, strength, fertility, and prosperity.

Immersing himself in the sights of Nandi at various temples, ghats, and alleyways in Varanasi, Suleman found profound inspiration for his Nandi series. The Bull seamlessly integrates into his artistic creations, adorned with a palette of red, brown, and golden hues. Furthermore, Suleman’s works often showcase Lord Ganesha and Shiva-Parvati, adding depth to his artistic narrative.

Opting for mixed media as his preferred artistic medium, Suleman’s discerning choice of colors, intricate detailing, and the refined strokes demonstrate a remarkable level of artistry, offering viewers a delightful and engaging visual experience.
